Thyroid Health
Thyroid disease is one of the commonest autoimmune conditions in the UK and tiredness can be the only symptom.

Problems with your kidneys will cause tiredness as your body can't filter waste from your blood as well as it should.

Tiredness is often an early sign of vitamin deficiency. You're at higher risk of vitamin deficiency if you're on a vegan or plant-based diet and all of us are at high risk of vitamin D deficiency in the UK.

Iron deficiency is probably the commonest medical cause of tiredness. Fortunately, it's simple to test for and easy to fix.

Inflammation in your body will make you feel tired and wiped out. You may also have other symptoms in your gut or joints.

This test panel can tell you if you have markers in the blood of a number of important and/or common conditions that can cause tiredness and fatigue. Positive results can indicate a disease that may require treatment. Negative results make it much less likely that you have a disease causing your symptoms and that you may benefit more from changes to your lifestyle involving sleep, diet and exercise.
We do not recommend using this test panel if you:
- are a child (17 years or under)
- are pregnant
- are feeling acutely unwell - e.g. with a cold or flu or if you have new-onset (i.e. within the last few days) symptoms of fatigue. It's often worth giving the body a chance to sort itself out before jumping to tests.
If you already have a known medical condition that affects your energy then this test kit may not be useful.
