Due to a limited Royal Mail service over the Christmas period, please don’t post samples to the lab between Friday 20th December and Wednesday 1st January 2025.

Royal Mail doesn’t operate on bank holidays and may not have a reliable service between 20th December and 1st January. Samples posted to the lab during this period may be delayed, which could mean we won’t be able to analyse them because they will be too old.

Our lab partner, TDL, operates as normal 24/7 and does not close over Christmas. Samples can be hand-delivered to the laboratory during this time. For details of our lab partner’s locations, please visit www.selph.co.uk/partners/tdl.

If booking phlebotomy services during the festive period please note that samples should not be returned by post and will need to be hand-delivered to the lab. You may prefer to reschedule your phlebotomy appointment until after Wednesday 1st January 2025.

The cut-off time for delivery before Christmas is before 2pm on Friday 20 December.

Orders will be processed on Tuesday December 24th but the cut-off time for same day despatch will be 10am.

Orders despatched on the 24th of December will be delivered from Friday 27th December.

Orders placed after 10am on Tuesday December 24th will despatch on Friday December 27th for delivery from Saturday 28th December.

Customer service will operate as normal, 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and festive bank holidays. During weekends and bank holidays, the team are available for urgent queries only.
